About Jack Wygal Music

  Jack Wygal is a 3rd generation Californian born in Long Beach and raised in Orange County currently residing in the Shorecliffs neighborhood of San Clemente, CA.  

With a family full of musicians, singing and playing guitar came early in life for Jack. Hitting the stage as a solo artist in the early 90’s became a catalyst for duos, trios, and up to 7-piece full bands playing throughout Orange County while studying music theory at Saddleback College. 

Getting back to those solo roots inspired by the singers & songwriters from the 60’s and 70’s, Jack’s current show consists of “Songs You Know by Heart” where all walks of life can sing along in a journey of nostalgia.  All from a time when the acoustic guitar ruled the stage, and you could understand every word from the singers who told stories of love, loss, and laughter. 

Along with the iconic covers from the heydays of music storytelling, Jack also writes originals and shares them with captive audiences where they became favorites and staples of the show. Although guitar is Jack’s main accompaniment, he learned to play the uku’lele while living in Hawaii in the early 2000’s and plays both instruments during shows to bring a little taste of the islands to compliment the laidback Californian’s musical style.
